CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story is a 2013 American biographicaltelevision film about the R&B and hip hop musical trio TLC. Directed by Charles Stone III, written by Kate Lanier,[1] and named after the group's 1994 album CrazySexyCool, the spelfilm stars Keke Palmer as Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Niatia "Lil Mama" Kirkland as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Drew Sidora as Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins.[2] The real-life Thomas and Watkins also served as executive producers of the film.[3]
The film's premiere on VH1 on October 21, 2013[4] generated 4.5 million viewers, making it the highest-rated television film premiere of 2013, as well as the highest-rated original film premiere in VH1 history.[5][6]

Niatia Kirkland, better known as Lil Mama, is a multifaceted and dynamic entertainer, singer, rapper, songwriter, actress, and exceptional dancer. Lil Mama is known for her keen spirit, and in addition to her artistic abilities, she is an inspirational speaker and entrepreneur.
Born in Harlem, NY, Lil Mama took to music and dance at an early age. Using poetry as a tool of self-expression, she soon found her voice in music. As she continued to grow, she learned how to combine these skills and her dedication over time led her to global success.
