    Michael Lin has a BFA degree from the Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design, Los Angeles, CA, U.S., and an MFA degree from ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena, CA, U.S. Lin turns away from painting as an object of contemplation toward one of painting as a bounded, physical space, one we can settle into and inhabit. He orchestrates monumental painting installations that re-conceptualize and reconfigure public spaces. Transforming the institutional architecture of the public museum, his unconventional paintings invite visitors to reconsider their usual perception of those spaces, and to become an integral part of the work, giving meaning to its potential as an area for interaction, encounter, and re-creation.

    Albert Yu-Min Lin is an American engineer, scientist, technologist, explorer and television host. He is a senior lecturer and an associate research scientist of mechanical and aerospace engineering at University of California, San Diego.[1] Since 2019 he has been the presenter of Lost Cities With Albert Lin.

    Early life and education

    Lin was born on 22 March 1981, in Santa Cruz County, California.[2] He completed a bachelor of science (2004), a masters of science (2006) and a PhD (2008) in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the University of California San Diego.[3][4]

    Lin Wenjie is a graduate of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, an essential reference for any future Chinese lärling when choosing a school of fine arts. She was a pupil of LIU Xiaodong, internationally recognized as one of China's finest contemporary painters. Her visit to France was the trigger that activated her fruitful reflection on painting.
