Cihat Askin
After graduating from Prof. Ayhan Turan’s class with honors grad, Cihat Askin completed his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in London at the Royal College of Music and at City University.
Upon his arrival to Turkey, he was appointed as Associate Professor in 1998 and Professor in 2006, at ITU. Under the same roof, he carried on his academic and artistic activities from 1998 to 2012, as the founder and co-chair of MIAM (Advanced Research Music Center). Askin served as the Director of Turkish Music State Conservatory of ITU in between 2008-2012.
Being a prominent figure in Turkey, he has been giving concerts across Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and the USA.

Born in Paraguay, Michiaki Ueno spent his childhood in Spain. He studied under the tutelage of Iñaki Etxepare, Hakuro Mohri and Pieter Wispelwey, further honing his musical artistry as an artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium beneath Gary Hoffman and Jeroen Reuling.
He has enriched his artistry through masterclasses of Steven Isserlis and Frans Helmerson, among others. He made his solo debut at the Suntory entré at age 11. He won first prizes the 6th International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in 2009, the 6th Romanian International Music Competition in 2010, where he was also awarded the Romanian Embassy Prize and Romanian Radio Culture Prize, 21st International Johannes Brahms Competition in 2014, and the at the 75th Geneva International Music Competition in 2021, where he also won three special awards including the Young Audience Prize, among other accolades. Lars-Erik Larsson wrote a revolutionary opus in the 1950s with his 12 concertinos. The Swedish composer, conductor and radio producer was a key figure in 20th-century Scandinavian music. Larsson’s works are among the most popular examples of Swedish classical music. The Swedish composer wrote many pieces for theatre, radio and cinema as well. Larsson’s oeuvre is characterised by great diversity. His works vary in style from Late Romantic to original techniques inspired by the twelve-tone serialism developed by the Austrian composer Arnold Schönberg. Larsson also wrote a number of pieces in a neoclassical style and frequently incorporated elements of Scandinavian folk music in his compositions. After World War II, Larsson was appointed to inspect various amateur orchestras that were eligible for subsidies from the Swedish government. He noted that the repertoires
